Welcome to Canelli, welcome to the Cellar

Canelli lies within the area known as the "vineyard landscapes of Langhe Roero and Monferrato," which is one of 53 such sites in Italy and 1052 worldwide recognized by UNESCO as world heritage sites.

For the very first time, an Italian winemaking landscape, Piedmont’s Langhe Roero and Monferrato, has been awarded this coveted acknowledgment.
Since the year 1000 A.D., Canelli has been the home to Moscato, and vineyards of Moscato grapes have been cultivated since 1235 on behalf of the Municipality of Acqui. These splendid, amber colored grapes are the origin of this extremely delicate wine, with an aromatic taste and an unmistakable bouquet.

Grappa master blender experience

The tour is designed to be a trip through the world of grappa and the history of the family, summed up in a short introductory video.

In this initial phase you will have the opportunity to choose from a selection of our finest grappas, from the private cellar of the Bocchino family, a sequence of aromatic sensations, which you will then assemble to create your personal distillate.

So that the entire product will be realized by you, you will now have the opportunity to personalize and design your own label. The recipe you create on this journey will be stored in the company archives, a testament to the uniqueness of your experience. Each bottle will be placed in a wooden box, making it even more precious.

The final tasting will be accompanied by typical Piedmontese gourmet treats.

The tour is designed to be a trip through the world of grappa and the history of the family, summed up in a short introductory video.

The tour winds through the cellars, with hundreds of casks of different types of wood containing distillates of various vintages and single-varietal grappas.

At the end of the visit there will be a tasting of four premium grappas produced by Bocchino, accompanied by typical Piedmontese gourmet treats.
